Acupuncture
TCM view: Energy runs through channels, also called meridians. These energy channels are like rivers flowing through the body to irrigate and nourish the tissues. An obstruction in the movement of these energy rivers is like a dam that backs up in others, usually causing an excess condition upstream and a deficiency condition downstream resulting in pain, discomfort, weakened organ function, altered defense function (immunity)
The meridians can be influenced by needling the acupuncture points; the acupuncture needles unblock the obstructions and reestablish the regular flow through the meridians
Western medicine explains acupuncture as the insertion of very fine needles at specific points                                                                      on the body resulting in a release of endorphin, serotonin and hormones

Acupressure Massage
Acupressure Massage is a form of therapeutic massage in which pressure is applied with thumbs, fingers and palms to acupressure points along the body's energy pathways or Meridians.  Acupressure Massage can reduce pain, treat headaches, stimulate physical relaxation and reduce stress.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a therapeutic method of relieving pain, stress, fatigue, by stimulating  pressure points on the feet (or hands).  These pressure points connect directly through the nervous system and affect the organs and glands. Reflexology can stimulate a sluggish digestive system, stimulate thyroid function, promote circulation of blood, lymph and energy. It is very grounding and relaxing by drawing and dispersing built up 'top' energy (the racing thoughts, tired eyes, headaches, problems to focus, irritability caused by stress....) towards the feet.

Fire Cupping
Fire Cupping is an amazing therapy to treat pain, remove stagnated blood and fluids from internal problem areas, promote circulation and bring relief to stiff joints and muscles.
There are many more health benefits of Fire Cupping and that is why cupping is one of my favourite therapies I use with my clients.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage is considered one of the oldest forms of East Asian massage techniques
Heated stones were used long before  acupuncture needles  and were applied to the meridian channels similarly to how they are today. Hot stones massage is used to relieve any kind of tension or pain in the body, to reduce stress symptoms and to re-energize. It promotes circulation and is extremely relaxing.

Gua-Sha
Gua-Sha is a technique used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to relieve pain by breaking up stagnation and promoting blood flow to the tissues, muscles and  joints that need healing.
We use a 'scraping tool' specially designed to break up adhesion. It works well to reduce scar tissue and de-stress sore and tired muscles.
